Making the Leap: How Pablo Built His Solo Growth Career with Confidence

Background:

When Pablo Asensio from 8percent Growth first reached out, he was at a crossroads, ready to move from an in-house role to a solo career as a Growth Consultant. He wasn’t looking for a by-the-book coachβ€”he wanted a business partner. Pablo needed clarity around his next steps and a solid action plan to make the transition happen.

What challenges were you facing when we met?

Provide clarity to the [many] questions I had for said career transition and a solid action plan to make that transition happen. I needed someone who had experience and knew their stuff. I didn’t want a coach who played by the book; I wanted a business buddy, and everything pointed in Andrew's direction.

Did you evaluate other alternatives?

Not really, as I avoided like a plague these coach-gurus who promise you Paradise. I really someone who went through the same pain I was embracing, and there was no real alternative to Andrew. It was a significant commitment for someone like me, and there was always the risk that my time and money might not be well invested. However, I received strong signs that it would be worthwhile, so I didn't have major fears about our collaboration. Ultimately, it was definitely worth it.

What was the experience like?

As a person who can't wait to be in motion and see progress, I loved experiencing traction from the very beginning. Each session provided valuable lessons, and the support I received between sessions also helped me to continue moving forward.

Any message to someone on the fence about working with Andrew?

Andrew is a down-to-earth guy with no ego, making the entire coaching experience enjoyable and candid. He focus on what matters, nothing else. Talk to Andrew directly about your doubts. He will clarify if you both are a good fit.
