Abi became more efficient in her role and more confident in her approach

Background:

Abigail Goettsch is the Head of Growth Marketing at Pulley. She was looking for someone to help her transition into a new role as a growth marketing leader when we first met.

What challenges were you facing when we met?

We first met a few weeks after I was affected by a round of layoffs and was searching for my next opportunity. I had followed you on LinkedIn from a distance and thought you could be a great coach to work with during the interview process and in my first few months in a new PLG/Growth role.

I go back to the saying, "what got you here won't get you there.” I knew I was at a moment in my career when a professional coach could likely help me advance quicker into a leadership role.

Did you evaluate other alternatives?

I was researching books by famous executive coaches, none of which were specific to my needs at my stage.

What did we work on together?

We focused on interview prep, confidence, and overcoming ambiguity in the workplace.

What was the experience like?

I really enjoyed working with you. You created a judgment-free zone, and I always left my sessions feeling like we're two friends who happen to work in similar jobs.

I’d describe you as a cool guy who is kind of like a therapist, mentor, and industry expert rolled up into one.

Any major results?

I feel more efficient in my daily work life and my confidence has improved significantly!

Any message to someone on the fence about working with Andrew?

Honestly, I just wish that I didn’t so long to work together
